Hitting the ‘Prime Time’ with Simply Good Food TV

New series on Amazon Prime Video

Its the beginning of a new adventure. Working closely with our partners, food app Simply Good Food TV (SGFTV) and production company SGFTV Productions Ltd, we have just broadcast the first episode of a new cooking show, Nigel Barden’s Drivetime Dishes, on Amazon Prime Video.

Throughout the series, food and drink critic Nigel will showcase a range of delicious food and drink, and try out a number of exciting recipes. In keeping with his appetite for artisan produce and local food heroes, the series will focus on the stories behind the ingredients, and features a weekly guest.

Pretium director David Sawford said: “We’re really proud to be involved in a show that’s sure to be a big hit with food lovers. It’s been great fun making it. We’ve been to some beautiful parts of the country and have sampled some of the very best local fare that the UK has to offer.”

In the first episode, Nigel visits the stunning Lake District, where he is joined by Cumbria-based chef Jon Fell, who is a passionate advocate for the region’s food. You can catch it on Amazon Prime Video this September. The series comprises six episodes, all of which will later be available via the SGFTV app.
